From what I remember when I first saw it, it hit home in a number of areas for me. as it did for plenty of teens that I knew. Remember, this was a HUGE hit back in "85 and that was because kids related. This wasn"t just another teen romance. it actually attempted to dig deeper into the crud we knew as high school cliques.
Don"t get me wrong, it has it"s shallow moments and I cringe when I watch chunks of it but that"s because I couldn"t stand being a teenager. Who on earth did? Think about it. each cliche in the movie existed somewhere in your high school in some relatable form. John Hughes knew what he was doing when he took a person from every major clique in high school and said, What would happen if you put them all in a locked up room together for a Saturday afternoon. He succeeded somewhat. Each clique member eventually revealed that they were a person underneath the label. That was the whole point of the movie.
As for where Hughes got his inspirations and writings, it was very simple: he talked to teenagers and plenty of them. Sure, he didn"t capture it entirely, but he got pretty close. I remember watching this with friends and my mother saying that high school wasn"t anything like that and all of us replying: Yes, it is. I remember my local church posting a bulletin that they were playing it for the kids that attended that evening (despite the language) because it had a good lesson. I remember that it made such an impact on my high school that they actually performed it onstage in a play. Why? That"s because John Hughes somehow captured underneath the unbelievable crashing windows and ceilings collapsing how crappy it is to be a teenager.
Still think it"s a bad movie? Or did you possibly want to forget how much you hated high school? Think about it.

Also we are opposed to You revealed key moments in the plot of the show, movie, or TV program, because the audience will not like it and thus You"ll spoil all the viewing experience to another cheloveka. I came into the theater to watch this movie not as a Disney fan nor of the original Aladdin but as a fan of Guy Ritchie. And I must say I was not disappointed. His style is recognizable in some parts of the movie with slow motion shots, running in alleys and parkour in a way that give this version of Aladdin almost a British gritty aspect as Ritchie would do. I was mostly impressed with the latter"s versatility by the "whole new world" which he created. This live-action remake is very colorful and very pleasing to the eyes even though the cinematography is not constantly solid but it was compensated with aesthetics by the production. Also it should be noted that Will Smith"s version of the genie was very unique and he was able to give it his touch making him one of the most if not the most imposing character on screen. As soon as he appears he almost gives a second life to the movie that was much needed. Which leads me to my last praise, this was wayyy funnier than i expected it to be. Will Smith"s performance and lines had a whole part of the cinema laughing out loud at multiple occasions.
On the other hand there was quite a few things that could have been improved on. For example there are many instances where I could not help but pay too much attention to the CGI Abu (which weirdly actually appears as a real monkey on frame making the CGI version look even worse) or a few greenscreen shots (i"m guessing) running on rooftops being quite janky. My major complaint though would be the casting for Jafar. While i do think that Marwan Kenzari did a good job with the character i just feel that an actor with a more ominous look and voice would have definitely worked a lot better like his co-star who played Hakim ( Numan Acar. It should be noted that a few of the scenes acted by Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud were a bit cringeworthy but they did seem like they were having fun playing those characters.
Overall, i think the positives outweigh the negatives by a bit and that the movie does not appear quite as magical as the original did but that is because the bar was set extremely high.
I would rate this movie a 6.5/10.

Aladdin movie 2019. Good movie fir about 30 minutes! But it soon wears on the patience of the watcher, lots of scene changes confuse the kids, and the late entry of the hero is so underrated. Love Will Smith but he deserves better production and better costars. terrible. Watch Aladdin WEB-DL movies.
